Above: The huge hunting concession required us to sleep in a dry river bed in order to continue the tracking of the desired buffalo’s. The night was cold and clear. The kions were plentiful and very inquisitive. We were approached by a territorial lion continuously pushing the boundaries of our comfort zone. Fortunately the eager Italian hunter took on the duty (involuntarily) of night watch. Adrenalin levels were high throughout the night.

Above: The adrenalin levels of the previous night took their toll on the Finn. He is sleeping in the bush close to where we found the buffalos earlier.
