Good morning all
I understand spring is in the air in the northern hemisphere as we had our first frost just the other day. Hopefully all the chiggers got frost-bite and disappeared.
Finally we are at the start of hunting season. Tomorrow sees us head out to Hoedspruit in search of buffalo. I believe there is a bull and a cow somewhere out there with two names engraved on them. We will have to wait and see what happens as this is going to be an extremely interesting hunt with a Scandinavian Hunter, a Finn, an Italian and a Boer. I’m really looking forward teaching them some choice Afrikaans like “thank you” and please “sir.”
After that hunt we head down to Cape Town with a family group. Bill and Maggie will be here as a 50th wedding anniversay. Then we hunt the East Cape before heading off to Zimbabwe probably.
As is usual you are welcome to follow the hunt on the Safari blog on a daily basis. There are no guarantees we will be able to do the daily updates due to unknown arrival times back at camp after the hunt.
You are welcome to leave comments and to insult the hunters if they miss!
Till next time.
Regards
Pieter
