At Hunting in Africa Safaris and Tours we hunt lions ethically and allow the hunter to hunt on fair ground. To ensure a lion hunting safari is successful we need hunters to make use of adequate lion hunting rifles to make the hunt legal. According to South African legislation you need to use a hunting rifle with a minimum caliber of 375. We are one of the few lion hunting outfitters who offer hunting packages at the best hunting places in South Africa so you need not have to find places where to hunt lions.

Bowhunting the African lion

Depending on your time of arrival we may suggest spending the night in the city of arrival. This is to minimise the risk associated with night driving and the threat domestic- and wild animals pose on the road. There is a minimum charge of $ 150-00 involved (2013) for the first night which includes dinner on arrival and breakfast the following morning.
