For the connoisseur wing-shooting enthusiast we have
on offer some of the best wing shooting concessions
available, offering waterfowl, guinea fowl, Egyptian
goose, francolin, dove and other species.
A 12ga is the preferred gauge for bird
hunting due to the availability of ammunition. 20ga
and other gauges are not always readily available at
many of the smaller gun stores. To save weight you are
welcome to purchase your ammunition in South Africa,
alternatively we can acquire some on your behalf. Please
enquire as to the availability of renting a 12ga ahead
of your arrival.
The entire hunt is a dedicated bird
hunt. Your hunting party will be the only hunters for
the booked period of the hunt and your Professional
Hunter (PH) will have an intimate knowledge of bird
hunting, and will make use of fully trained hounds that
will point, flush and retrieve your quarry successfully
taken. A maximum of four days is recommended.
Bag limits apply according to ethical
and legal requirements.

The hunt will be conducted according
to the physical abilities of the hunter and at a pace
the hunters can keep up with. It is recommended to combine
this hunt with either a photographic safari or a rifle
hunt.
